Yet Another Society

Yet Another Society is a non-profit, 501(3)(c) corporation for the advancement of collaborative efforts in computer and information sciences.

Started by KevinLenzo, they organize the various YetAnotherPerlConference (YAPC), and recently merged with PerlMonks and the PerlMongers. YAS serves as a non-profit umbrella organization for various Perl groups and projects, (though it's not limited to Perl) and a convenient funnel for donations.
