Indication Of Action

Problem:

When performing an action on a system, a user may not be provided with any inherent confimation of their action as a result of the action itself.

Solution:

Provide a unique and perceptible sound immediately after the action is performed.

Examples:

• Pressing keys on a mobile phone
• Clicking a web link in Internet Explorer
